What is Reiki? And how could it help you?
Reiki – pronounced ‘ray-kee’ – is a Japanese word that translates to ‘life energy’. When delivered by a qualified practitioner, Reiki can be used to release emotional stress, address energetic blockages and promote a deep sense of relaxation.
Reiki is a safe, gentle and non-intrusive healing technique that can be used to compliment orthodox healthcare practices. It can particularly help those who suffer from stress, anxiety, depression and insomnia, and those who are in recovery from surgery or addiction.
Reiki can be delivered as a standalone treatment – but regular sessions can lead to a happier, healthier and more resourceful way of living. Over time, Reiki therapy can also encourage you to make better personal choices; it’s a fantastic supporting therapy for those who want to make positive changes to their lifestyle, embark on a new exercise programme, reduce unhealthy cravings and generally make more time for self-care.
